Entire world economy roiled by simultaneous shocks echoing 2007 stress

The earth economy is demonstrating signs of a speedy downshift as it contends with a sequence of shocks — some of them self-inflicted by policymakers — expanding the likelihood of another global economic downturn and the threat of key economical disruptions.
